With the mighty cathedral and the old Prince Bishop’s Palace, the city has fascinating attractions to offer. Stroll to your stay in our guesthouse in Brixen through the winding streets of the old town and enjoy the medieval atmosphere of the old times. With the Aquarena you will enjoy South Tyrol’s most beautiful water park that you can visit for free as guests of our house.

Our holiday house in Brixen is housed in a historic building and has 12 comfortably furnished rooms. Each unit is equipped with a private bathroom. In the rooms there is a TV with satellite channels, in-room safe and direct dial telephone. The rear garden is a green oasis that invites you with manicured lawns and Mediterranean vegetation to relax and unwind. At our guesthouse in Brixen there are a pleasant sun terrace, a lounge and a breakfast room. Parking spaces are also available. You have the choice to book the accommodation including breakfast.

Pension Mayrhofer, apart from a 14-day break, is open all year through. As a starting point for hiking, biking and expeditions in the summer and skiing adventures in the exciting winter the house is perfect. The lifts to the Brixen house mountain Plose are located very close to the villa or apartment. In summer, in the high alpine altitude wonderful hiking trails and in winter, the region turn into a skiing area.

traces of the past
Many medieval castles and palaces attract in Eisacktal with a trip. Feldthurns and Rodenegg Castle can be visited as part of hiking or biking trip. In the valley there is the ancient defense system Franzensfeste and the monastery Neustift that you can visit after a scenic hike. Other interesting visits are those to the Brixen Diocesan Museum and the Nativity Scene Museum.
